Shared Fund: ideal for homes and stable cohabitation. Everyone contributes to a common fund and expenses are deducted from it. At month-end, each person contributes their proportional share.
Expense Split: ideal for trips, events, or temporary groups. Each person pays with their own money and at the end, it calculates who owes whom, simplifying transfers.
HomePot offers a free plan with all essential features for 1 group, including unlimited expenses and multi-currency support. No ads ever. For unlimited groups and advanced features (AI receipt scanner, analytics, export), we offer HomePot Pro through a monthly or annual subscription.
In Settings you can view and copy your group's invite code. Share it with the people you want to invite. They can join using that code when signing up or from the "Join a group" option.
With the free plan you can have 1 group. With HomePot Pro you can have unlimited groups and easily switch between them from the group selector on the main screen.
Owner: full control, can transfer ownership and delete the group
Admin: full management (members, expenses, categories)

Member: can view and add expenses
Tap the "+" button on the expenses screen. Enter the amount, a description, select the category and the date. In Expense Split mode, you can also indicate who paid and who participates.
These are expenses that repeat every month (rent, internet, electricity, etc.). You can set them up once and HomePot will automatically add them each month, saving you time.
At the end of each month, you can perform a monthly close. HomePot calculates exactly how much each member needs to contribute or transfer, based on all expenses for the month. The closing history is saved.
No. HomePot is a tracking and calculation tool. Actual payments and transfers between members are made outside the app (Venmo, Bizum, bank transfer, cash, etc.).
Your data is securely stored on Supabase (Amazon Web Services infrastructure). It is encrypted in transit and at rest, and is only accessible by members of your group.
Yes. You can delete your entire account from Settings > "Delete my account". This will permanently erase your profile, your membership in all groups, and groups where you are the only member. You can also leave an individual group or delete a group if you are the owner.
On the sign-in screen or in Settings > Security, you can request a password reset email. Check your inbox (and spam folder).
Your data remains safe on our servers. If you reinstall the app and sign in with the same account, you will recover all your data and groups.
If you want to completely delete your account and data, do so from Settings > "Delete my account" before uninstalling.
If you are the group owner, you must first transfer ownership to another member from Settings. If you are the only member, you can delete the group directly.
